STEP 2: Volunteer responsibility and refundable work bond
As an unsubsidized non-profit 501(c)(3), Silver Creek Athletic Association relies on volunteerism and fundraising to drive improvements to programs and to the facility. We receive no township, borough, or municipality funding. SCAA was built and maintained by volunteers since 1967.
A $100 REFUNDABLE work bond fee will be added to each family's registration invoice to guarantee an adult's commitment to volunteering for at least one 4-hour shift at a facility event at Silver Creek. Work bond fees will be refunded after the shift has been completed and all SCAA-issued jersey and/or equipment has been returned. You may opt out of your family's volunteer responsibility by agreeing to donate your work bond to SCAA, but we would rather you not. We WANT and NEED your help to be successful!
Some of the expected volunteer opportunities for 2026 are as follows: A SignUp Genius link will be emailed to families to coordinate and confirm a volunteer shift closer to when the event is formally scheduled. To receive your work bond refund please complete volunteer report on our website HERE.

1. Player program/league fees of either $50, $90, $110, or $125 depending on level, per registered player.
2. One of SCAA's long-standing annual fundraisers is the sale of 12-month Lucky Lottery Calendars. These provide a chance to the calendar purchaser to win money every day! When the numbered calendar matches the PA Lottery Pick 3 Evening Number, SCAA will send a check! Each family is required to buy two Lucky Lotto Calendars as part of spring registration, if not purchased already. The cost for each calendar is $25 each for a total of $50.
To accelerate the fundraising goals, any family that buys/sells 15 Lucky Lottery calendars, will receive 1 FREE calendar! And for every 20 calendars sold, the family will receive one player program fee (up to $125) for FREE! Go to the Lucky Lottery 2026 Fundraiser tab on the SCAA webpage or contact [email protected] for more details.
