Volunteer responsibility and refundable work bond
As an unsubsidized non-profit 501(c)(3), Silver Creek Athletic Association relies on volunteerism and fundraising to drive improvements to programs and to the facility. We receive no township, borough, or municipality funding. SCAA was built and maintained by volunteers since 1967.
A $100 REFUNDABLE work bond fee will be added to each family's registration invoice to guarantee an adult's commitment to volunteering for at least one 4-hour shift at a facility event at Silver Creek. Work bond fees will be refunded after the shift has been completed and all SCAA-issued jersey and/or equipment has been returned. You may opt out of your family's volunteer responsibility by agreeing to donate your work bond to SCAA, but we would rather you not. SCAA WANTS and NEEDS your help to be successful!
Expected volunteer event opportunities for 2025 are as follows: A SignUp Genius link will be emailed to families to coordinate and confirm a volunteer shift closer to when the event is formally scheduled.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Head coaches, assistant coaches, and team coordinators are not exempt from each family's volunteer shift responsibility at a facility event.
2. All families are expected to volunteer in the field snacks stands for at least one home game for each of their players at Silver Creek during the current season and this does not count towards the volunteer work bond.

Lucky Lottery Calendar Fundraiser
One of SCAA's long-standing annual fundraisers is the sale of 12-month Lucky Lottery Calendars. These provide a chance to the calendar purchaser to win money every day! When the numbered calendar matches the PA Lottery Pick 3 Evening Number, SCAA will send a check! Each family is required to buy or sell two 2025 calendars as part of registration, if not purchased already. The cost for each calendar is $25 for a total of $50.
To accelerate fundraising goals and offset your costs, any family that buys/sells 10 Lucky Lottery calendars, will receive one player program fee (up to $125) for FREE! And for every 15 calendars sold, the family will receive 1 FREE calendar! Reach out to [email protected] to arrange pickup of calendars to sell. |
Invoicing and payments
An electronic invoice for your family's SCAA registration will be created and emailed to the primary registering email address AFTER teams and rosters are fully formed. Payments can be made online by credit card, or by cash or check (payable to SCAA). Details for sending payments will be included in each invoice. It will include the following:
