STEP 2: Volunteer responsibility and refundable work bond

As an unsubsidized non-profit 501(c)(3), Silver Creek Athletic Association relies on volunteerism and fundraising to drive improvements to programs and to the facility. We receive no township, borough, or municipality funding. SCAA was built and maintained by volunteers since 1967.

A $75 REFUNDABLE work bond fee will be added to each family's registration invoice to guarantee an adult's commitment to volunteering for a 4 hour shift at Silver Creek. Work bonds fees will be returned to families at the end of the season upon completion of a volunteer shift and return of SCAA-issued jersey and/or equipment. You can opt out of your family's volunteer responsibility by agreeing to donate your work bond to SCAA, but we would rather you not. We want and NEED your help! During registration, you can choose a volunteer shift from the following 2021 Volunteer Opportunities:

STEP 3:  Fees, invoicing, payments, and credits

An invoice for your family's selected program(s) will be created for you following the submission of your registration. It will include program fees, a mandatory 2021 fundraiser, volunteer work bond, and any credits from 2020.

1. Player program fees are either $50, $90, or $110 per registered player.

2. Our long-standing annual fundraiser has been Lucky Lottery Calendars. These provide a chance to for you to win money every day of 2021 when your numbered calendar matches the PA Lottery Pick 3 Evening Number. Each family is required to buy two 2021 calendars, if not purchased already, though you can buy more if you wish to help us reach our goal sooner. The cost for each calendar is $25 for a total of $50 (excluding credit card surcharge, if applicable). The calendars can be kept or sold to friends, family, customers, or colleagues.

3. A $75 REFUNDABLE work bond fee will be added to each family's invoice.

4. Accounts will be reviewed for available credits from 2020. Credits will be applied to the invoice balance for 2021.
PLEASE NOTE

2021 program fees and volunteer work bonds will NOT be collected until each team has been confirmed with coaching availability, schedule, and start date. You can buy your Lucky Lottery calendars online ahead of time so that you have more chances to win, or they will be added to your invoice. Invoices are expected to be sent in March 2021. Payment by cash, check (payable to SCAA), or credit card (with surcharge) is expected by April 9, 2021.

Silver Creek Athletic Association's Mission

SCAA is a multi-generational organization that was founded nearly 70 years ago to establish, promote and maintain baseball and softball opportunities for the children of Springfield Township and the Upper Bucks County Region of Pennsylvania. Our efforts have spanned not only decades, but also the lives of area athletes, their families support and many changes in society. Fair Competition, Sportsmanship and Fellowship are the foundation of our mission and these ideals never go out of style.
