STEP 2: Volunteer responsibility and refundable work bond

As an unsubsidized non-profit 501(c)(3), Silver Creek Athletic Association relies on volunteerism and fundraising to drive improvements to programs and to the facility. We receive no township, borough, or municipality funding. SCAA was built and maintained by volunteers since 1967.

A $75 REFUNDABLE work bond fee will be added to each family's registration invoice to guarantee an adult's commitment to volunteering for a 4 hour shift at an event at Silver Creek. Work bond fees will be refunded to families at the end of the season upon completion of a volunteer shift and return of SCAA-issued jersey and/or equipment. You can opt out of your family's volunteer responsibility by agreeing to donate your work bond to SCAA, but we would rather you not. We WANT and NEED your help!

During the completion of the registration form, your family will choose a volunteer shift via SignUp Genius from the following 2023 Volunteer opportunities:

STEP 3:  Fees, invoicing, and payments

An invoice for your family's SCAA registration will be created and sent to you following the submission of your registration. It will include 3 line items:
1. Player program/league fees of either $50, $90, $110, or $125 depending on level, per registered player.

2. One of SCAA's long-standing annual fundraisers is the sale of 12-month Lucky Lottery Calendars. These provide a chance to the calendar purchaser to win money every day! When the numbered calendar matches the PA Lottery Pick 3 Evening Number, SCAA will send a check! Each family is required to buy two calendars as part of registration, if not purchased already. The cost for each calendar is $25 for a total of $50.

To accelerate the fundraising goals, any family that buys/sells 10 Lucky Lottery calendars, will receive one player program fee (up to $125) for FREE! And for every 15 calendars sold, the family will receive 1 FREE calendar! Go to the Lucky Lottery 2023 Fundraiser tab on the SCAA webpage or contact [email protected] for more details.

3. A $75 REFUNDABLE work bond fee will be added to each family's registration invoice.

An electronic invoice for your family's SCAA registration will be created and emailed to the registering email address AFTER teams and rosters are fully formed.  Payments can be made online by credit card, or by cash or check (payable to SCAA). Details for sending payments will be included in each invoice.
Closed for Spring 2023

Silver Creek Athletic Association's Mission

SCAA is a multi-generational organization that was founded nearly 70 years ago to establish, promote and maintain baseball and softball opportunities for the children of Springfield Township and the Upper Bucks County Region of Pennsylvania. Our efforts have spanned not only decades, but also the lives of area athletes, their families support and many changes in society. Fair Competition, Sportsmanship and Fellowship are the foundation of our mission and these ideals never go out of style.
